This month, Team Lucky Duck spent time at Vineyard Community Services. They have a location in Burnsville at the South Metro Vineyard Church and serve residents of Dakota County. Each Tuesday evening and Saturday morning, they welcome those who are in need of groceries to visit the food shelf. We volunteered on a Tuesday afternoon, working on getting ready for the distribution that evening. We went through donated produce to get rid of anything that was already bad. After that, we worked on pre-packing the boxes with an assortment of veggies and produce.
