July 4th Celebration

As many of you might know, the 4th of July is Team Lucky Duck’s favorite holiday. With Zach’s patriotism and Carly’s love for summer weather, it is the perfect time to celebrate. We’ve put together a few ideas to incorporate into your BBQs and get-togethers to make sure you have a festive Independence Day.

This bucket from www.landeeseelandeedo.com is easily dressed up with straws and a ribbon can be used for anything at your BBQ. From holding the utensils at the beginning of a buffet or holding sparklers for the kids, it can be a cute and functional piece. It can also be used as part of a centerpiece to add a bit of patriotic flare to the table.

When we are considering DIY projects, ease is one of our top priorities. These mason jars are filled with dyed rice but you can also buy red, white and blue beads. Add a tea light and the ambience is perfect for an evening BBQ or fireworks show.

Printables allow even the least crafty of us to add a homemade piece to the decor. Adding a frame and some ribbon to this word art print of The Pledge of Alliance from www.todayscreativeblog.net  gives the perfect finishing touch.

We picked a couple of recipes that feature red, white and blue to try for your BBQ or party. These will keep the July 4th theme going even beyond the decor.

You’ll be the hit of any party with red, white and blue mocktail from www.momendeavors.com. It is a nice treat to help cool down during the 4th celebrations.

We hope that you have a wonderful Independence Day enjoying time with family and friends celebrating our country. If you try any of these ideas, let us know, we’d love to see how they turn out!
