This month we volunteered with a local food shelf in the south metro area, The Open Door. Every Tuesday, they host a drive-in distribution event at a local middle school. Participants get a pound of group beef, eggs, bread, a box of produce, dry goods as well as seasonal fresh fruits & vegetables. Our duty was to help deliver the groceries into the cars that arrived. Even though it was a hot day, our team had a wonderful time giving back to our community and serving others.
