Every November we volunteer with a program that serves Veterans. This year we went back to Every Third Saturday. They provide clothing and services to homeless veterans who are transitioning to civilian life. We hosted a clothing drive first and then brought our items with us when we spent the afternoon sorting the donations for the upcoming events.

We spent time sorting the clothing into sections and sizes so that during the event, customers can find what they need quickly. November is a busy month as winter boots are distributed and are definitely in high demand. The other items that are most in need are new socks, men’s underwear and winter jackets.
