Volunteering with 360 Communities

Team Lucky Duck spent an afternoon at the 360 Communities Foodshelf in Burnsville. It was a great time spent giving back and supporting a great organization in our own backyard.

360 Communities focuses on three main areas: preventing violence, ensuring school success and promoting long-term self-sufficiency. The food shelf is part of the self-sufficiency program. There are 5 food shelves in Dakota County. We volunteered at their largest, in Burnsville, where about 100 families a week are supported.

Carly and Kelly spent the afternoon sorting through donated produce. Some was bad but much of the food was good and could be used to re-stock the fridges and shelves.

We love the opportunity to give back to our community so if you know of an organization that could use some help, please reach out to us. We would love to help!
