An Evening With Cornerstone

In the fall of 1983, a small group of passionate women and men dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence established Cornerstone in South Hennepin County. Since then, they have provided space, education and resources for thousands of adults and children needing to leave domestic abuse, sexual violence and human trafficking.

The statistics on the value of Cornerstone are impressive. Last year alone, Cornerstone provided services for 3,964 unduplicated clients and they were able to connect 14,573 victims or concerned persons to the nearest safe housing program.

One of the helpful services Cornerstone provides are meals for their clients. In fact, they served 35,826 meals last week. Team Lucky Duck was fortunate enough to prepare and serve dinner to 50 Cornerstone clients and staff this week.

We love the opportunity to give back to our community so if you know of an organization that could use some help, please reach out to us. Thank you to the staff at Cornerstone for being such a positive resource for these families and for being so helpful while we served dinner. We look forward to returning!
