Volunteering with VEAP Food Shelf

Every time we volunteer at a local food shelf, we leave feeling humbled, grateful, and connected to our community.

This month, our team spent the afternoon packing potatoes and onions into smaller portions for families picking up food later that day. It may seem like a simple task, but knowing these bags would soon land in the hands of neighbors who need them made every box we packed feel meaningful.

VEAP is one of the largest food shelves in the Twin Cities, serving thousands of families through both generous community donations and food sourced at a deep discount from Second Harvest Heartland. Having also volunteered at Second Harvest Heartland, it was powerful for us to witness the full journey of this food—from donation to distribution.

We are honored to play a part in supporting these organizations and the families they serve, and we’re grateful for the chance to keep giving back to our communities.

We’d love to volunteer at an organization that you support. Please reach out to us if you know of a program that could use our help!
