This November, we spent time with Every Third Saturday. We love this organization and try to align a day to volunteer with them around Veteran’s Day. Their mission and programs serve Veterans and their families as they transition back to civilian life after time in the military and deployments. As in the past, we helped in their shop to sort through donated clothing. The shop’s items are free and available for any veteran in need. Many of the veterans that Every Third Saturday serve are experiencing homelessness so items like winter jackets, socks, hats & gloves are needed this time of year. Donations are accepted at their Minneapolis location. Larger men’s sizes are especially needed.
