This month, we visited the Lakeville Community Food Shelf at Messiah Lutheran Church. We were there on a day that they received 2 deliveries from local grocery food rescue programs. We unloaded the trucks, sorted the food and then stocked the shelves. This program is part of 360 Communities and serves over 100 families each week. Families are invited to the food shelf once a month but will never be turned away if they come more often. With those numbers, this Food Shelf is making an impact for over 400 families in our community every month!
