This month we volunteered at the District 191 Community Pantry. We try to spend at least one of our volunteering sessions with this organization every summer. The food shelf serves the community right around our office and we love getting the chance to give back to one of the communities that we spend so much time in. Any family can stop by to pick up a bag of groceries based on the size of their family. Every week, dry goods are offered and every other week, a bag of produce is available as well. We helped to pack the bags and then helped to deliver the bags of groceries into the vehicles as they approached. It is a quick and easy drive through option for families & community members.
